We Help You
Christos House provides many services and, if we are unable to help directly, will provide a list of other resources. In order to build independence, Christos House provides housing for victims and related services. These shelter services include, but are not limited to, professional counseling; court and personal advocacy; transportation (to the shelter, to appointments, and for relocation); classes in budgeting, nutrition, parenting, daily living skills, and job skills; assistance in filing Crime Victims Compensations forms; awareness programs; peer and group support; and outreach services. Outreach services include, but are not limited to, rental assistance; utility assistance; legal and court advocacy; and personal advocacy.
We provide a few free resources to our communities. Some resources include, but are not limited to, parenting classes; healthy relationships class; diapers; and hygiene kits. Some of these resources are while we have supplies, such as diapers and hygiene kits. Diapers are provided by Focus on Babies Diaper Resource Center of West Plains. Hygiene kits are dependent on donations and supply varies.
